New version of CoRubrics GSD: integration with Classroom

A new version of CoRubrics GSD is now available in the spreadsheet add-ons Chrome store, an add-on to evaluate with rubrics.

This new version has the main novelty of integrating with Classroom. This integration takes place in 3 aspects.

ImExClass: an add-on for exporting and importing gardes between Classroom and a spreadsheet

Yesterday Google published in the Chrome store of spreadsheet add-ons a new add-on I created, ImExClass.

It’s a simple add-on that solves a need I had and maybe others have as well. I use a spreadsheet (virtual teacher’s gradebook) to keep track of the students. In addition, I use Google Classroom to support my classes.

CoRubrics and CoRubrics GSD become add-ons

The CoRubrics and CoRubrics GSD templates have become Google spreadsheet add-ons. This change does not affect the normal functioning of the evaluation process for rubrics. All it does is make it easier to start the process.

G Suite Admin console (3): Youtube

Youtube is one of the digital resources that is most used in classrooms. Without getting into methodological questions about Flipped classroom, whether at home or in class, students watch many Youtube videos. I thinks It’s positive because it’s a good way to learn.
However, it has risks and it is important to be able to control a little what our students look at. In this sense, if students are using Chromebooks computers managed by the center in a G Suite domain, it is possible to configure filters to display only the appropriate videos.
The procedure for setting up the G Suite management console to filter Youtube videos is not exactly intuitive, so I’ll go into detail in this article.
